Professional triathlete, coach and speaker

About Alexander

Alexander is a competitive athlete and coach with passion. In addition to his professional career as a triathlete, he set himself the goal of turning his hobby into a profession and founded the company ReWork in 2018.

Since then, Alexander has successfully coached numerous world championship participants as well as state champions in endurance sports. As one of the fastest swimmers in the triathlon circuit with numerous first-out-of-the-water moments, Alex also likes to be one of the first in front of the camera.

However, he is particularly characterized by his extensive practical know-how in training and its realization.  Among other things, he is known for various self-experiments, for example, the implementation of a 200 kilometer training week of the fastest marathon runner in the world, Eliud Kipchoge, or a 100x100 meter swim training with an average pace of under 1:15 min/100m. As his own coach, Alex himself is his biggest critic, having taken him to almost every finish to date. Examples are his 2019 marathon debut in 2:49h or his 1500m freestyle best in 16:49min.

"I question theory and am also sometimes critical of established concepts. Through my many years of experience as an athlete and coach, I have learned to understand the sport from both perspectives. A quality that benefits my athletes in many ways."
