If you are already working as a trainer in an EMS gym or are planning to purchase an EMS device, then training to become an EMS Master Trainer is just the right thing for you to learn the techniques and applications of an EMS device.
We place great emphasis on practical training. Thats why we show you how to take a medical history and recognize contraindications, among other things. You will also learn exercises for each muscle group and how to design a successful EMS personal training program.
EMS training is an effective methodfor your clients to strengthen their muscles and get their bodies in shape. EMS stands for"electromyographic muscle stimulation" and promises fast results, as the muscles are not only exerted by the workout, but are also stimulated by electrical impulses. EMS training is therefore ideal for customers who have little time but still want to train effectively.
If you also have little time to complete a training course with fixed attendance dates, training with our One2One learning variant is ideal for you. With the One2One variant, you are independent in terms of time and location. You can select your instructor for the "EMS Master Trainer specialist module" in your area via our Online Campus.
As an EMS trainer, you will be able to help people achieve their fitness goals quickly with short EMS training sessions.
By the way, if you dont just want to specialize in EMS training, but also want to appeal to people interested in sports in general, you could combine the EMS Master Trainer course with our other courses such as fitness trainer, personal trainer or functional trainer courses.

An entire workout in just 20 minutes - this has actually been possible with EMS training for 20 years. What seemed like a new trend at the time is now commonplace in health and rehabilitation facilities. EMS fitness studios are now also available everywhere.
As the demand for EMS training continues to rise, so does the demand for qualified trainers. As this form of training can lead to rapid success in the areas of weight loss or health promotion, for example, it is obvious that incorrect use can quickly lead to consequential damage.
Misjudgements or a lack of anamnesis can therefore quickly lead to damage to muscles and kidneys or, in the case of existing complaints, cause them to worsen.
During your training to become an EMS trainer, we place great emphasis on preparing you for practice. This is why we show you how to take a medical history and recognize contraindications, as well as teaching you exercises for each muscle group and how to design a successful personal training program.
You will learn how to use EMS equipment correctly and familiarize yourself with the devices and EMS suit. We will also show you how to instruct exercises correctly, recognize mistakes and correct them.
Theoretical content is also part of the training. You will use studies to analyze which training methods lead to the best results so that you can provide your customers with professional advice.

This is one of the most useful units for the aspiring trainer, as it helps them identify their place in the market, which makes for a more successful career start.
We begin by taking a look at Marketing itself to understand exactly what it is and of what relevance it has for personal trainers.
Important basic concepts such as USP, positioning, target market, etc. are introduced and different models from marketing such as the SMART Formula, marketing mix (7Ps) and more are explained.
The communication between trainer and client is also addressed in this unit. Various aspects of communication theory and some guidelines for successful communication are covered.
Upon completion of this subject, participants are able to develop marketing strategies for their product and/or services, ready to position themselves in a market rich in variety and full of possibility!
A working understanding of human physiology and therefore the relationships between the various functions of the human body is crucial for anyone working in the exercise and fitness field. It is a requisite knowledge for the sufficient practice of their profession.
This course makes the relationships within the human organism graspable for everyone. Take a deep-dive into the human body and learn the functions of our organism for your new profession in fitness.
In this subject you will get a close look at energy metabolism needed for muscle activation, the circulatory system and the pulmonary system.
Any high quality education in fitness and exercise begins with the foundations of anatomy and physiology.
In this unit participants are prepared for successful communication with their clients on every level. In addition, we take a look at how the trainer or coach can go about dealing with their own goals and motives, which will in turn help them better understand their clients.
The right goal-setting and the proper approach to feedback are an important parts of this unit.
The way we manage stress as trainers and with our clients and a variety of learning strategies are explored so these skills can be integrated into your professional approach.
In this introduction to training theory we look at the foundations of training plan creation and management, including the principles of training, training methodology and factors that influence sports performance.
Because performance capacity, performance diagnostics, training and competition are so interrelated, they are covered together in this unit.
In an anamnesis, data on the medical and life history, personality, problem areas, and social relationships of the individual are collected. The anamnesis can be obtained through an open conversation or specific questionnaires. Ideally, a combination of both methods is used. This allows the trainer to form an impression of the client, identify connections, and initiate suitable activities. In case of contraindications, no training should be conducted or only after medical clearance.
In this subject, you will also learn the technical basics of EMS training, including the history of EMS, its functioning, and the effects of EMS on speed strength and muscle performance. It will explain the frequency and types of current used for each muscle and how to achieve successful weight loss.
This subject analyzes the effects of strength training, calorie intake, protein consumption, and supplements on reducing body fat percentage based on studies by Wolfgang Kemmler. Both conventional strength training and full-body EMS training were analyzed and compared.
Health-oriented training addresses the question of how much exercise is optimal, considering factors such as frequency, duration, and intensity. Additionally, this subject examines energy expenditure, as well as calorie intake and expenditure.
The health-related effects of exercise and sports in prevention can be attributed to three main components: endurance training, strength and flexibility training, and coordination training. The positive effects of these types of training are compared with EMS training, considering the advantages and disadvantages of EMS training.
The structure of a training session is explained step by step, teaching you what to consider to guide the client effectively through the training.
Basic full-body EMS exercises involve static training, where the body is held in a specific position for a certain period. Static full-body exercises may sound easy to perform, but maintaining the required body tension can be challenging even under normal circumstances. With EMS, impulses trigger muscle contractions, requiring not only holding ones body weight but also working against the electrical impulse.
This form of training is particularly suitable for beginners since static exercises do not require coordination skills. The client can initially adjust to the unfamiliar load without additional demands.
In the One2One course, participants learn how to interact with clients in one-on-one training sessions. This includes aspects such as the didactic and methodical aspects of exercise instruction. It involves explaining the exercise, equipment, and the muscles involved to the client, conducting a safety check of the equipment, and demonstrating the exercise.
During spotting, participants are further instructed on how to properly assist, correct, and encourage clients in their role as trainers. This includes a focus on visual, verbal, and tactile spotting techniques.
Whether its functional training, such as dips, or using small equipment like TRX bands and dumbbells, upper body training essentially works the same as regular upper body training, but with the added component of electrical stimulation.
However, its especially important for the trainer to ensure the correct execution of the exercises, as errors can occur, particularly when using weights. Improper execution during impulse-enhanced EMS training can lead to muscle damage.
Legs and glutes are best trained during EMS training using ones own body weight. Functional training classics such as squats and lunges, as well as variations thereof, effectively target the muscle groups. Additional weights can be added if needed.
Time to hit the mat! To train the core with EMS, classic exercises are utilized. Variations of crunches and planks, as well as exercises like mountain climbers, are integrated into the training. Here, not only body tension but also coordination and balance are required.
The basic module Sports Competence is approved by the German Central Agency for Distance Learning (ZFU) under the following number: 7324018c. The ZFU is the central authority for distance learning in Germany and works on the basis of the Distance Learning Protection Act (FernUSG). It decides on the approval of distance learning courses nationwide in order to guarantee a technically correct and generally professional distance learning course.
As a recognized institution in adult education, our curricula are regularly evaluated and recognized by state institutions and funding bodies. We are constantly striving to exceed current quality standards in order to guarantee you the best possible training. Convince yourself of our certifications.
There are a variety of funding options for training courses at the Flexyfit Sports Academy. State-specific and EU funding as well as tax-related options form the basis for this.
However, we would like to point out that the respective funding body is solely responsible for deciding on the allocation or amount of funding.
We will be happy to help you find a suitable funding body and compile all the course information you need for a funding application. You must submit the application itself to the funding body.
You can find an overview of the most important funding bodies here.
Depending on the funding institution, the training costs are either paid directly after the funding application has been confirmed (e.g. AMS) or reimbursed in full or in part after successful completion of the training (e.g. waff). Please contact the funding institutions yourself to find out how the funding works.
Yes, the majority of our courses are suitable for educational leave.
If you want to continue your education without terminating your employment, you can arrange educational leave with your employer. This means you will be released from work for the duration of your training.
Plan your educational leave with us now! We will be happy to clarify your individual training requirements with you in a personal, non-binding consultation.
You can take your educational leave for a maximum of 1 year within 4 years - there are 3 options:
It is important that your employer agrees to you taking educational leave. You must provide evidence of the training plans issued by us to the extent of 20 hours per week in the case of full-time educational leave, or at least 10 hours in the case of part-time educational leave.
You must regularly provide evidence of the progress of your training. For example, in the form of examinations or confirmation of attendance, which you will receive from us.
During training with EMS (electromyographic muscle stimulation), muscle groups are stimulated with small electric shocks by training in special EMS suits. The muscle contraction means that the muscle not only has to resist the training stimulus, but also the current. This means that success can be achieved quickly with just a short workout.
The task of the EMS trainer is to regulate these electrical impulses, i.e. pulse frequency, contraction and pulse strength, with the help of an EMS device. They also show the customer the exercises they should do and guide them through the training. These exercises are mainly performed using the clients own body weight, such as squats or sit-ups.
As the fitness industry falls within the scope of the "liberal professions", no certificate of competence is required. So if you are sure that you have the necessary knowledge, you can offer EMS training without any training.
However, a lot can go wrong even with normal training, and EMS training is even trickier. Overloading can quickly occur during this high-intensity full-body workout, and if contraindicators such as pacemakers or epilepsy are not taken into account, serious damage to health can occur.
And ask yourself honestly, would you rather be energized by someone who has learned in training what to look out for, or by someone without the relevant prior knowledge?
We regularly list job advertisements from fitness studios on our Sportkarriere platform. There you can apply directly for jobs as a fitness trainer, branch manager, instructor or studio employee.
If you have already completed an apprenticeship with us and you are interested in a further course, the Sports Competence module will be credited to you.
If you are studying at a university, we can sometimes credit individual subjects. For example, if you have completed training in the medical field, experience has shown that the subjects of anatomy and physiology can often be credited. If you have completed training with another provider of adult education (e.g. online trainer license, Vitalakademie, etc.), we will have to assess individually whether something can be credited.
Our training courses can be paid for conveniently in installments, there are no additional costs! Our team will be happy to help you with a payment plan.
Once you have made your booking, you will have full access to your Academy account and your learning materials. You can cancel at any time within 14 days without giving a reason. This will not incur any costs for you! The (first) invoice will be sent to you by e-mail approximately 3 weeks after registration.
