Learn how to lift weights properly
Weightlifting has experienced a real renaissance in recent years thanks to a number of fitness trends, such as Crossfit and functional training. Who is the workshop suitable for?
Weightlifting is functional, suitable for everyday use and complex , which is why it is also interesting for ambitious hobby and fitness athletes . Provided that the movements are performed correctly and sustainably and do not lead to injuries in the long term. Our primary goal is to show you how to perform the basic lifting techniques (snatch and deadlift) correctly and integrate them into your training.
For fitness & personal trainers, the workshop offers a good opportunity to further your education in terms of strength training. Your clients will thank you for it.
What is taught in this workshop?
Our aim is to introduce you to the two techniques of weightlifting (snatch and clean and jerk). We will immediately put the theoretical, methodical background into practice. Error corrections and detailed analyses should help to ensure a stable and sustainable movement sequence in the long term. "Quality before quantity" is our motto here.
The snatch (snatch) is a single-phase exercise in which the barbell is brought directly over the head in a single movement and then fixed. The snatch is considered to be the much more "technique-oriented" exercise.
The clean and jerk is a two-phase exercise. In the first phase, the barbell is moved, i.e. temporarily placed on the shoulder. In a second phase of movement, the barbell is then pushed upwards, over the head and fixed.
Specific content:
- General warm-up
- Special warm-up (Burgener Warm UP, for example)
- Snatch methodology (snatch)
- Methodology Clean and Jerk
